Rationale for this position
Reporting to the Sales Director, the position holder is responsible for managing all aspects of customer relations for major accounts including Sobeys. He will be in charge of planning, organizing and implementing the business plan in addition to negotiating commercial agreements.
Themain relationships
Work in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams such as: marketing, operations and customer service.
Description of functions
- Lead and manage national retail accounts to support sales and market share growth.
- Issuing recommendations to optimize business strategies, in collaboration with the marketing department.
- Plan and implement different activities aimed at maintaining a solid relationship with customers.
- Negotiate commercial agreements based on strategic objectives.
- Develop and execute specific business plans for each of its clients with the aim of obtaining the desired sales volumes and market shares.
- Negotiate promotional schedules and special promotions with respective customers in order to maximize volume and profits.
- Develop promotional strategies adapted to each client while respecting budgets.
- Monitor and analyze market dynamics and account sales performance in order to propose the required improvements.
- Be actively involved in the marketing of new products.
- Establish contacts with new clients to create accounts and support business development.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or other related field.
- Experience: (3) to (5) years of experience managing major accounts.
- Be results-oriented and prioritize management.
- Have excellent analytical and presentation skills.
- Have a great capacity for persuasion and influence.
- Have a good knowledge of the IT tools of the MS Office Suite.
- Bilingualism.
