Purpose of the position:
As a Logistics Distribution Manager at Maison Riviera, your main mission is to ensure the efficiency of logistics operations.
Main relationships:
The incumbent reports directly to the Procurement and Logistics Director.
Main responsibilities:
- Ensure the optimization of distribution routes and processes
- Manage and optimize relationships with 3PLs and optimize internal distributor routes and external
- Build, manage and optimize performance indicators related to distribution and logistics
- Develop and implement logistics strategies
- Plan distribution needs, anticipate constraints and coordinate activities to meet the company's expectations
- Ensure constant monitoring of market rates
- Develop and use performance indicators to monitor the efficiency of logistics processes and identify opportunities for improvement
- Implement corrective measures to improve the quality of deliveries and reduce costs, non-conformities and penalties imposed by customers
- Participate in continuous improvement projects to optimize external logistics flows and our internal truck fleet
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to develop solutions innovative
- Maintain and develop strong relationships with carriers, suppliers and other external stakeholders
- Negotiate distribution contracts and logistics agreements to ensure profitable and efficient partnerships
- Monitor the inventory of finished products, by the turnover and obsolescence rate
- Implement efficient and methodical management tools

Job requirements:
To occupy this position, the following requirements are necessary :
- University or college degree in operations management, logistics or equivalent combination of experience and training.
- At least seven (7) years of relevant experience in distribution and logistics.
- At least three (3) years of experience in the food industry, fresh products.
- Excellent knowledge of the food industry.
- Proficiency in the Office Suite, as well as excellent proficiency in Excel software.
