What you can expect to do with us:

  • Actively participate in the design and implementation of projects;
  • Participate in technical surveys; 
  • Write conceptual studies; 
  • Estimate project work costs; 
  • Carry out design calculations and ensure that plans correspond to guidelines, code requirements and other regulations as well as WSP design standards; 
  • Design of plans and specifications based on guidelines obtained from the project manager or discipline manager; 
  • Collaborate with the site supervision team to complete your projects; 
  • Coordinate the design of your discipline with other disciplines; 
  • Collaborate with the production team, the assistant team and the site supervision team. 

What you will bring to WSP:

  • Have a building mechanics technique (DEC).
  • Experience in building mechanics (ventilation, heating, air conditioning, plumbing, fire protection).
  • Knowledge of Revit and Autocad software.
  • Knowledge of Word and Excel software.
  • Hold a valid driving license; 
  • Hold a valid ASP construction card (an asset); 
  • Master French (written and spoken); 
  • Master the Microsoft Office Suite; 
  • Be a dynamic and motivated person; 
  • Have the ability to work in a team; 
  • Demonstrate autonomy and concern for a job well done. 
  • Knowledge of different codes and standards (Plumbing Code, Building Code, Ashrae, etc.) (an asset)
  • Knowledge of software such as ACC (Autodesk Construction Cloud), Procore, K-Ops, etc. (an asset)
  • Any combination of training/experience will be considered
