Under the authority of the operating room manager and the head of the URDM, you will have to work in active collaboration with the operating room team to carry out the following tasks:

Job description:

  • Participate and collaborate with the care team in providing services to patients;
  • Ensure the comfort and safety of patients when positioning and handling technical equipment;
  • Assist team members in positioning, moving and mobilizing the patient;
  • Ensure patient transport;
  • Ensure a safe and calm environment for patients;
  • Maintain order and cleanliness in the various clinical areas;
  • Clean, strip and remake the bed when the patient is discharged; patient;
  • Provide a climate of calm that promotes rest and recovery for patients;
  • Assume responsibility for transmitting all communications regarding patient needs to the
    care team;
  • Collect, clean, disinfect and sterilize the instruments and equipment used;
  • Ensure the cleanliness and integrity of instruments, equipment and materials;
  • Reassemble surgical specialty trays according to established procedures;
  • Reprocess and disinfect endoscopes;
  • Perform the various quality control tests selected by the department;
  • Ensure the application of operating room policies and procedures;
  • Ensure the retention of data on the insurance of the sterility;
  • Work closely with operating room staff and clinicians in the facility to improve the quality of care for users;
  • Keep your knowledge up to date by regularly consulting known references and resources;
  • Participate in the reception and distribution of orders, certain administrative tasks, maintenance of workspaces;
  • Perform any other related tasks.

Requirements

  • Hold training in a hospital setting or general training (DEP or DEC) outside of medical devices;
  • Significant experience in a healthcare setting
