MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:
- DEC in electrical engineering (industrial electronics technology) or DEP in electromechanics of automated systems or DEP in industrial design;
- Have at least 2 years of relevant experience.
Job description:
The industrial electrical and instrumentation design technician reports to the manager of the electrical/instrumentation discipline.
Their main tasks are:
- Under the supervision of an engineer, design and draw layout and arrangement plans for electrical equipment and cable trays;
- Under the supervision of an engineer, design and draw single-line diagrams, control diagrams and diagrams interconnection;
- Model and coordinate elements in 3D models;
- Participate in interdisciplinary design and coordination reviews;
- Adapt drawings according to customer specifications and requirements;
- Apply the quality assurance process to deliverables.
Selection criteria:
- Have an excellent knowledge of AutoCAD 2D software;
- Knowledge of AutoCAD Plant 3D software (considered an asset);
- Knowledge of REVIT software (considered an asset);
- Knowledge of AGI32 software (considered an asset);
- Knowledge of the BIM common data environment (considered an asset); asset);
- Good knowledge of the Office 365 suite (Word, Excel);
- Good knowledge of low-voltage electrical distribution;
- Good team spirit, attention to detail, meticulousness, autonomy, etc.;
- French (English would be an asset).
