TECHNICIAN/DESIGNER IN ELECTRICITY AND INDUSTRIAL INSTRUMENTATION - QUEBEC, BOUCHERVILLE AND MONTREAL

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:

  • DEC in electrical engineering (industrial electronics technology) or DEP in electromechanics of automated systems or DEP in industrial design;
  • Have at least 2 years of relevant experience.

Job description:

The industrial electrical and instrumentation design technician reports to the manager of the electrical/instrumentation discipline.

Their main tasks are:

  • Under the supervision of an engineer, design and draw layout and arrangement plans for electrical equipment and cable trays;
  • Under the supervision of an engineer, design and draw single-line diagrams, control diagrams and diagrams interconnection;
  • Model and coordinate elements in 3D models;
  • Participate in interdisciplinary design and coordination reviews;
  • Adapt drawings according to customer specifications and requirements;
  • Apply the quality assurance process to deliverables.

 Selection criteria:

  • Have an excellent knowledge of AutoCAD 2D software;
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD Plant 3D software (considered an asset);
  • Knowledge of REVIT software (considered an asset);
  • Knowledge of AGI32 software (considered an asset);
  • Knowledge of the BIM common data environment (considered an asset); asset);
  • Good knowledge of the Office 365 suite (Word, Excel);
  • Good knowledge of low-voltage electrical distribution;
  • Good team spirit, attention to detail, meticulousness, autonomy, etc.;
  • French (English would be an asset).
