PLAN B, HR Services is seeking an accounts payable technician for one of its clients located in the Lanaudière region. Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the Finance Manager, your responsibilities will be:
- Match received invoices with purchase orders, validate the information, then code and record the invoices in the system;
- Reconcile the account statements of assigned suppliers;
- Monitor payments;
- Resolve supplier-related invoicing issues;
- Print checks and obtain the necessary signatures;
- Track fixed assets via an Excel file and make general ledger entries;
- Verify and Settle expense accounts;
- Prepare periodic statements;
- Perform any other related tasks.
Required Technical Qualifications:
- DEC or DEP in accounting;
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position;
- Good experience processing large volumes of invoices;
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel;
- Excellent communication skills with suppliers and company managers;
- Organizational skills, speed of execution, and ease of learning.
