Accounts payable clerk

PLAN B, HR Services is seeking an accounts payable technician for one of its clients located in the Lanaudière region. This position offers attractive conditions, including a weekend starting at noon every Friday. Responsibilities:

Under the supervision of the Finance Manager, your responsibilities will be:

  • Match received invoices with purchase orders, validate the information, then code and record the invoices in the system;
  • Reconcile the account statements of assigned suppliers;
  • Monitor payments;
  • Resolve supplier-related invoicing issues;
  • Print checks and obtain the necessary signatures;
  • Track fixed assets via an Excel file and make general ledger entries;
  • Verify and Settle expense accounts;
  • Prepare periodic statements;
  • Perform any other related tasks.

Required Technical Qualifications:

  • DEC or DEP in accounting;
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position;
  • Good experience processing large volumes of invoices;
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel;
  • Excellent communication skills with suppliers and company managers;
  • Organizational skills, speed of execution, and ease of learning.
