Covalen is looking to fill a position of personal-lines damage insurance broker to join its expanding personal insurance team. Reporting to the Director, the incumbent will be responsible for a portfolio of clients holding personal property and casualty insurance products. He or she must ensure customer satisfaction by meeting their needs and maintain excellent relationships with various internal and external stakeholders.

📝 Specific responsibilities:
- Offer high-quality customer service and work in collaboration with all team members;
- Ensure portfolio growth;
- Ensure customer retention;
- Perform risk analysis, assess needs and offer suitable products for renewals, modification requests and new business;
- Negotiate with several insurers;
- Ensure collection of accounts receivable;
- Follow up on recommendations issued by insurers;
- Assist clients with a claim, report it to insurers and follow up on it
🔍 Desired Profile :
- Hold the title of personal lines insurance agent or broker and a valid license (AMF);
- Have 2-3 years of experience in personal insurance (brokerage is an asset);
- Excellent proficiency in MS Office software;
- Excellent knowledge of various insurer portals (Intact, L'Unique, Aviva, or at least 2 of the 3 mentioned insurers);
- Knowledge of Epic, Tarif Expert, and Tarif Expert software (an asset);
- Excellent customer service skills;
- Excellent communication skills, in both French and English (oral and written).
