SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Under the supervision of the Operations Director, the Service Technician is responsible for the upkeep and preventive maintenance of equipment. He ensures the quality and safety control of compressors.
MAIN TASKS
Daily Duties
- Determine and prepare the equipment needed to travel to customer sites;
- Inform customers of work being performed on equipment;
- Ensure that supplies are available to complete projects;
- Ensure maintenance and servicing of equipment and compressors;
- Repair parts, change oil, clean filters, and replace ball bearings;
- Perform electrical diagnostics and high-temperature oil leaks;
- Complete work orders for work performed on the computer;
- Ensure a rapid response to emergency calls at customer sites;
- Participate in maintaining company quality standards;
- Work with the team to ensure the exchange of information and knowledge;
- Collaborate and provide support to coworkers;
- Participate in weekly team meetings;
- Maintain good interpersonal relationships with coworkers and customers;
- Occasionally ensure the timely delivery of goods to customers;
- Maintain the company's rolling stock (trucks);
- Perform any other related tasks.
REQUIREMENTS
- DEP (Diploma of Professional Studies) in industrial mechanics or electromechanics;
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position;
- Knowledge of the compressed air sector (a asset);
- Hold a valid driver's license;
- Functional bilingualism in French and English (reading technical documentation)
- Be independent and able to work without much supervision;
- Ability to manage priorities and ensure effective time management;
- Good manual dexterity.
CONDITIONS
Salary: $30.00 to $35.00 per hour
