Rotation and end of day educator

Responsibilities

The educator implements an educational program that includes activities aimed at the overall development of the children in their care, ensures their health, safety, and well-being, and performs various tasks related to their role. The rotational and end-of-day position involves replacing group teachers while they are free for educational planning and relieving the educator who finishes at 3:00 p.m. You will therefore be required to work with all age groups and in all premises. The position holder is responsible for closing the facility 5 days a week.

Required Profile

  • We are looking for someone who is motivated by the implementation of the educational program. Someone for whom supporting children in their learning is a stimulating challenge and who wants to join a team of experienced educators.
  • You must be qualified: College Diploma (DEC) in Early Childhood Education or AEC with 3 years of experience or the equivalent.
  • Valid First Aid training
  • No impediments related to the job
  • Good command of spoken French
  • Commitment, punctuality, and a desire to develop skills

Additional Information

  • 5 days/week
  • Variable schedule over 2 weeks. Over 10 working days, 3 days from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. and 7 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., for an average of 34 hours/week.
  • Salary is determined according to the Ministry of the Family's salary scale.
