Are you looking for a role where you can really make a difference, contribute ideas, optimize processes, and thrive in a stimulating manufacturing environment? We have the perfect position for you!

We are looking for an Assistant Controller who isn't content with just doing accounting "the way it was before," but actively seeks to simplify, automate, and improve the way things are done. • Participate in inventory analysis: validate inventories, explain discrepancies, track adjustments, and optimize related processes.
  • Contribute to the preparation, review, and control of budgets, financial forecasts, and expense analyses; Explain variances and support management in decision-making.
  • Actively participate in cash flow management and related banking transactions.
  • Collaborate closely with all company departments to improve manufacturing, financial, accounting processes, and internal controls.

  • Propose and implement concrete technological and AI solutions to improve efficiency.

Essential interpersonal skills:

  • Excellent oral and written communication (French and English).
  • Ability to influence colleagues, partners, and suppliers; Ability to explain financial concepts in simple terms and support internal and external clients throughout the process.
  • Ability to coach, motivate, and advance the finance/accounting team in their understanding of processes and the improvement of their daily tasks.

Your profile:

  • Natural proactivity and resourcefulness: you find solutions even before being asked.
  • Excellent understanding of accounting principles (ASPE, IFRS an asset).
  • Good knowledge of manufacturing environments: you understand production flows and their financial impact.
  • Passionate about technology, comfortable with ERP systems, digital tools, and artificial intelligence applied to accounting.
  • Obsessed with continuous improvement "We've always done it that way" is not an acceptable answer for you.
  • Rigor, analytical skills, and attention to detail.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting (required)
  • CPA obtained or working towards (strong asset)
  • Relevant experience in financial accounting, ideally in a manufacturing context
