A well-established family business in construction and property management is seeking an Assistant Controller to support the Controller in financial operations.
Responsibilities:
- Full accounting cycle and preparation of financial statements
- Financial analysis, budgets, and year-end closing
- Accounting management related to buildings (leases, invoicing, common expenses)
- Payroll, DAS, and GST/QST returns
- Participation in process improvement
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- Bachelor's degree in accounting (an asset)
- Autonomous, structured, proactive
- Real estate experience (an asset)
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting tools
