DIRECTOR OF AUDIT – TAXATION – CPA

THE ROLE

In this role, you will be at the heart of managing assurance and tax engagements, while acting as a trusted advisor to a diverse clientele.

You will be responsible for:

  • Planning, executing, and reviewing audit, review, and compilation engagements, primarily for daycare centers and businesses private;
  • Prepare and review individual tax returns;
  • Prepare corporate tax returns;
  • Advise clients and actively contribute to their loyalty;
  • Participate, according to your interest, in business development and client expansion;
  • Mentor and support junior team members in carrying out their mandates;
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of internal procedures and the management system of the quality;
  • Collaborate closely with partners on complex cases and special mandates, particularly inrestructuring, mergers and acquisitions, and estate planning.

THE DESIRED PROFILE

  • CPA auditor;
  • 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in a public accounting firm;
  • Excellent knowledge ofASPE and accounting standards applicable to non-profit organizations;
  • Experience with various industries: holding companies, service and retail companies, Non-profit organizations, daycare centers, manufacturing and processing;
  • Solid expertise in personal and corporate taxation;
  • Excellent professional judgment, rigor, and team spirit;
  • Open, approachable, and collaborative personality;
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities;
  • Strong customer focus and a constant commitment to quality service;
  • Proficiency in CaseWare, CaseView, Taxprep, and Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Excellent command of French, both spoken and written the written word.
