LAWYER – CORPORATE/COMMERCIAL LAW

Our client is a renowned boutique firm, bringing together lawyers, notaries, and paralegals who work closely together and share a common goal of providing high-level service.

You will have the opportunity to work directly with clients on large-scale corporate, commercial, and real estate transactions, while benefiting from the close relationships and flexibility of a human-sized firm.

THE ROLE

You will be required to:

• Participate in corporate and commercial transactions;
• Prepare documentation related to corporate reorganizations, turnovers, mergers, and acquisitions;
• Participate in due diligence and negotiations;
• Prepare corporate documents related to financing;
• Draft corporate agreements and shareholder agreements;
• Review memoranda tax matters;
• Advise clients and work directly with the various professionals involved in transactions.

THE DESIRED PROFILE

• Member of the Quebec Bar;
• 2 to 5 years of experience in corporate law;
• Experience in commercial law;
• Excellent writing and communication skills;
• Good organizational skills, autonomy, and rigor;
• Ability to manage multiple files and deadlines Simultaneously;
• Team spirit, intellectual curiosity, and initiative;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
