Mechanical Engineering Design Technician
Genetics is looking for a dynamic individual, eager to thrive in a stimulating environment, to join our team as a Mechanical Design Technician.
đ HERE IS THE PROFILE WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Holds a DEC (Diploma of College Studies) in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent;
- Haves 5 to 9 years of design experience in the mechanical field;
- Knowledge of SolidWorks/Revit software (an asset);
- Fluent in spoken and written French (fluency in English is an asset for collaborating with our clients outside Quebec);
- Demonstrates strong adaptability;
- Demonstrates positive leadership, autonomy, and a strong Teamwork skills; And above all, share our values: competence, autonomy, respect, and quality of life. đ A GLIMPSE OF WHAT AWAITS YOU: Receive, identify, and analyze client needs; Read, interpret, analyze, and understand the various technical clauses of plans and specifications; Participate in the design of various deliverables (technical concepts, plans, lists, datasheets, calculations, manuals, etc.), in accordance with client specifications and standards; Participate in the selection of equipment involved in the designs; Provide support technical expertise during equipment manufacturing;
- Provide technical support and/or participate in equipment commissioning.
