Tasks

  • Determine equipment requirements
  • Determine logging operation methods
  • Recommend measures to improve work methods
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
  • Oversee safety of operations
  • Prepare and submit reports
  • Ensure adherence to government regulations
  • Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule (and possibly review) activities of workers
