- Prepare general ledger

- Manage accounts receivable
- Manage accounts payable
- Prepare trial balance
- Open and close books for auditors
- Prepare bank reconciliations
- Review on the behaviour with regard to deposits and withdrawals, overdraws, defaults, dishonoured payments and spending patterns
- Prepare payroll
- Collect payments from debtors
- Perform financial calculations, such as costing and budgeting
- Store, update and retrieve financial data
- Prepare financial statements and reports
- Manage cash
