Construction Manager
Papillons Infrastructure Nature, a young company working in the environmental sector, is dedicated to building solutions to meet the challenges of tomorrow's world.
Papillons Infrastructure Nature is seeking a Construction Manager to support the deployment of its charging station network.
Main Responsibilities
Reporting to the Development and Implementation Director, the Construction Manager will have the following main responsibilities:
- Manage construction projects:
- Produce plans in collaboration with the Project Management Specialist – Construction and external contractors (as needed),
- Coordinate the works,
- Monitoring and correcting deficiencies,
- Ensuring the administrative follow-up of projects, namely: pre-project approvals, equipment orders, management of bids, purchase orders, invoices, and forecasting expenses, in collaboration with the administrative and financial departments,
- Optimizing site design and installations,
- Maintaining exemplary relationships and follow-up with the various partners involved,
- Coordinating and planning the construction team
- Ensuring the delivery of complete and functional charging sites to the network operations department,
- Visit charging sites.
Requirements
- 3 years of experience in a role of Construction project management,
- Practical knowledge of electrical and civil work,
- 1 year of field operations experience,
- Team coordination experience
- Exceptional customer service skills,
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365,
- Experience in projects involving Hydro-Québec (an asset),
- Experience in applying for municipal permits for commercial projects (an asset),
- Experience with electric vehicles and charging (an asset),
- Experience using project management software (an asset).
Specific Skills
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously and work with short deadlines deadlines,
- Ability to communicate quickly and concisely,
- Autonomy, sense of responsibility, sound judgment, and resourcefulness,
- Fluency in spoken and written French,
- Fluency in spoken and written English,
- Valid Class 5 driver's license without any restrictions,
- Experience with AutoCAD files (an asset)
- Class 1, 2, 3, or 4B driver's license (an asset).
Conditions and Benefits
- Salary: based on experience
- Start date: January 2026
- Type Contract type: Permanent, full-time (40 hours/week)
- Location: On the road, remote work, and offices in Mile End
- Some meetings may require physical presence at Papillons' offices or in other municipalities, and you will be asked to attend various events across Quebec
