Inspector – Kitchen Department

Main Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular inspections of fire suppression systems in commercial kitchens (hoods, nozzles, extinguishing agent bottles, triggering devices, etc.).
  • Verify that installations comply with fire safety standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify anomalies, defective parts, or potential risks and recommend the necessary corrective actions.
  • Carry out Perform functional tests to ensure proper system operation.
  • Produce detailed inspection reports, including observations and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen service team to schedule inspections and meet deadlines.
  • Provide quality customer service, clearly explaining inspection results and offering practical advice for system maintenance.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of standards and technologies specific to kitchen fire suppression systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Knowledge of commercial kitchen fire suppression systems (an asset, paid on-site training available).
  • Good technical skills, ability to diagnose and resolve problems.
  • Excellent communication skills communication and customer service.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Rigor in report writing and attention to detail.
  • Valid driver's license.
