Tasks

  • Conduct feasibility studies in mining operation and evaluation
  • Supervise technologists, technicians and other engineers and scientists
  • Prepare recommendations and reports for the construction or improvement of civil engineering projects
  • Conduct studies of groundwater flow and contamination
  • Design, develop and implement computer applications for geophysics, geochemistry, geology and mapping
  • Analyze reports and prepare recommendations on settlement of buildings, stability of slopes, and effects of earthquakes to support construction and civil engineering projects
  • MS Office

Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses 

  • Registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association
