The role goes well beyond payroll processing. The organization is looking for someone who can bring structure, support the evolution of processes, and act as an internal reference for payroll and benefits.

You will operate in a multi-site environment where collaboration with HR, finance, and operations teams is essential.

Your Role

Ensure reliable, structured, and compliant payroll

  • Manage the complete weekly payroll cycle for approximately 140 employees spread across multiple branches.

  • Perform reconciliations, validations, accounting entries, and controls related to payroll.

  • Administer benefits and group insurance.

  • Validate expense accounts and ensure follow-up on payroll-related items.

  • Respond to employee inquiries and act as an internal resource person.

  • Produce analyses and reports to support HR and finance teams.

  • Participate in the continuous improvement of payroll processes and compliance.

  • Collaborate on the evolution and eventual implementation of HR tools or systems.

  • Engage in an environment that includes certain realities related to American payroll.

The Desired Profile

We are primarily looking for an autonomous, stable person capable of taking the lead in their function in a growing environment.

Desired Profile

  • Significant experience in complete payroll cycle.

  • Ability to manage a role autonomously and in a structured manner.

  • Experience in multi-site or complex environments.

  • Good analytical skills and attention to detail.

  • Knowledge of reconciliations, payroll entries, and benefits.

  • Functional bilingualism in French/English to communicate with certain teams and North American operational realities.

  • Ability to thrive in a context where priorities shift rapidly.

  • Professionalism, maturity, and good collaborative spirit.

Important Assets

  • Experience with ADP, Nethris, Employeur D, SAP, or similar systems.

  • Experience in process improvement or implementation of HR systems.

  • Exposure to certain realities of American payroll.
