Senior Production Manager (Welding)

About the Position

Our client, a well-established manufacturing company that is growing and transforming, is looking for a strong leader to take charge of a strategic production unit in welding.

This role is key: your mission will be to structure, stabilize, and improve operational performance in a critical sector.

Your Responsibilities

Reporting to the operations management, you will be responsible for the overall performance of your unit.

On a daily basis, you will:

• Manage production operations across multiple shifts
  
• Guide and mobilize a team of supervisors and team leaders
  
• Optimize production flows and eliminate inefficiencies
  
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks
  
• Implement and monitor performance KPIs
  
• Structure management routines (field follow-ups, priorities, cadence)
  
• Actively participate in continuous improvement projects
  
• Collaborate closely with engineering, quality, and maintenance
  

Desired Profile

Requirements:

• Strong experience in manufacturing production management
  
• Experience in a metal/welding environment (a significant asset)
  
• Experience in managing multi-shift operations

• Excellent priority and performance management
  

Assets:

• Training in engineering or a related field
  
• Experience in implementing KPIs and dashboards
