Financial Analyst, Costing and Performance

Location: Beauce (30 minutes from the bridges)
Schedule: 40 hours per week

Do you want your analyses to have a concrete impact on operations, profitability, and business decisions?

A well-established manufacturing company is creating a new position for a financial analyst to support its numerous investment, automation, performance improvement, and growth projects.

Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, you will become a key person in transforming operational data into useful management information. You will work closely with both the finance team and the managers and production teams.

Your Role

• Analyze production costs and profitability of various contracts

• Evolve costing models and ensure the reliability of the data used

• Analyze performance variances and identify their causes

• Collaborate with production teams to understand operations and gather relevant information

• Develop, improve, and monitor performance indicators

• Evolve existing dashboards in Power BI

• Provide managers with clear information to enable better decision-making

• Conduct financial analyses related to equipment, automation, robotics, and expansion projects

• Evaluate returns on investment and contribute to the preparation of financing files

• Gradually participate in acquisition projects, including pre-transaction analyses, due diligence, financial evaluation, and integration follow-up

• Collaborate with the finance director on certain budgetary and financial analyses

• Participate in the continuous improvement of processes, models, and analysis tools

The Desired Profile

• Experience in financial analysis, management accounting, or costing

• Experience in a manufacturing environment, a significant asset

• University degree in administration or college training combined with relevant experience

• At least 3 years of experience

• Good ability to work with data, create models, and highlight important elements

• Ease in communicating with managers, finance professionals, and production teams

• Autonomy, rigor, curiosity, and ability to manage multiple priorities

• Knowledge of Power BI, a significant asset
