Nexwav is looking for a financial controller.
This role is aimed at a professional in accounting wishing to evolve into a management position, while being supported and trained in this transition.
Role
Reporting to the finance director, the person will actively participate in financial operations while gradually developing their management responsibilities.
Responsibilities
Accounting and operations
Participate in the complete accounting cycle
Perform and supervise certain operations such as collections and invoicing
Collaborate for month-end closing
Ensure the reliability of financial data
Analysis and improvement
Produce financial analyses
Participate in process improvement
Contribute to the optimization of work methods
Management and leadership
Supervise a team of three people
Support the team in daily operations
Evolve into a full management role
Desired profile
Three to ten years of experience in accounting or finance
Good mastery of Excel (pivot tables, lookups, etc.)
Analytical and structured mindset
Leadership and willingness to evolve
Hands-on and operational approach
CPA (asset)
Functional English (asset)
Conditions
Salary starting from $90,000
35-hour work week
