This newly created position is to support a recently hired Chief Financial Officer and strengthen the rigor of internal accounting operations. You will play a key role in the preparation of financial statements, validating team work, and making tangible improvements to processes. Responsibilities — what you will deliver concretely
- Produce financial statements and ensure the quality of deliverables by the deadlines.
- Perform reconciliations and resolve discrepancies, taking into account the specifics of the sector.
- Support payroll-related activities in collaboration with the dedicated payroll person.
- Validate the work of the accounting team and ensure compliance of ongoing operations
- Act as the right hand of the Chief Financial Officer on operational priorities and follow-up on accounting files.
Profile sought — essentials and work style
- Hold a DEC in accounting or equivalent experience.
- Have 10 years of experience in accounting, including experience in the full accounting cycle.
