Job Summary
Our client is looking for a Senior Estimator to play a central role in analyzing tenders, evaluating costs, and preparing complete submissions in the context of large-scale projects.
Reporting to the large projects management, the ideal candidate will directly contribute to the quality of submissions, risk management, and project profitability. This is a strategic role for someone capable of taking ownership of their files with autonomy, rigor, and judgment, in a growing, concrete, and results-oriented environment.

Main Responsibilities
- Analyze plans, specifications, addenda, and tender documents
- Correctly interpret technical specifications and project requirements
- Prepare complete, structured, and coherent estimates for multi-residential and institutional projects
- Evaluate all project costs, including labor, materials, contingencies, insurance, rentals, and other related costs
- Also estimate portions not directly related to modular manufacturing, including:
- foundations
- utility connections
- building mechanics
- fire protection
- landscaping
- parking
- masonry
- exterior cladding
- interior finishes
- foundations
- Request quotes from suppliers and partners
- Compare received bids and validate the quality of submissions before submission
- Collaborate with internal teams to optimize proposed solutions
- Suggest alternatives for materials, methods, or approaches to improve feasibility and profitability
- Participate in the continuous improvement of estimation tools, methods, and systems
- Contribute to the evolution of practices in a context of transformation and growth
Desired Profile
We are looking for someone who combines technical strength, autonomy, rigor, and professional maturity.
The right profile will be able to effectively read plans and specifications, structure their analysis, produce reliable submissions, and maintain a high level of accuracy even when deadlines are tight.
The ideal candidate must demonstrate:
- a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in estimation in the construction sector
- experience in multi-residential, institutional, commercial, or wood construction
- an excellent ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and tender documents
- significant experience in preparing complete submissions
- a good understanding of site realities and risks related to omissions or gray areas
- a strong ability to analyze the overall costs of a project
- ease in collaborating with multiple internal stakeholders
- good proficiency in Excel and office tools
- openness to estimation tools, ERP, or similar systems
- a good level of bilingualism in French and English, particularly for reading technical documents
