Project Manager (Construction & Metal Fabrication)
About the Position
Our client, a company specialized in metal fabrication and steel structures, is looking for an experienced project manager. You will be responsible for the planning, execution, and complete follow-up of projects, from coordinating internal teams to ensuring final client satisfaction.
This key role requires an organized and results-oriented leader, capable of juggling multiple files while respecting deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.
Requirements
Main Responsibilities
Coordinate all stages of project management (planning, administration, monitoring of timelines and budgets).
Supervise manufacturing, installation, and subcontracting activities.
Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, engineers, and internal teams.
Identify and resolve technical and organizational issues.
Ensure compliance with contractual terms and client satisfaction.
Visit job sites as needed (occasional travel may be required).
Prepare reports, follow-ups, and updates for management.
Desired Profile
3 to 5 years of experience in project management in metal construction, steel fabrication, or millwork.
University degree in civil engineering, construction management, or equivalent.
Excellent planning, organization, and communication skills.
Bilingual French/English (oral and written).
Practical knowledge of fabrication, welding, installation, and inspection.
Proficiency in computer tools and planning software (MS Office, management software).
