Join a recognized litigation legal team known for its rigor and collaboration, in an environment where quality of execution makes a difference. You will provide shared support to several lawyers, with strong exposure to procedures and deadlines.

Responsibilities — concrete deliverables in litigation and tight deadline management

  • Draft, review, and format litigation procedures and legal documents with a high level of accuracy.
  • Coordinate timelines, deadlines, reminders, and follow-ups on files while managing simultaneous urgencies and changing priorities.
  • Support multiple lawyers according to the files, in close collaboration with a senior assistant. 
  • Ensure paper and digital document management, including filing, organizing, and maintaining complete files.
  • Conduct communications and provide internal/external customer service with professionalism and discretion.
  • Perform title searches and searches at the Bureau of Publicity of Rights.

Profile Sought — essential requirements and qualities for daily success

  • Hold a DEP or AEC, ASP in legal secretarial studies (or equivalent training).
  • Demonstrate confirmed experience in litigation (5 years), including the preparation and management of procedures (Superior Court, Court of Quebec, Court of Appeal).
  • Master French perfectly, both orally and in writing.
  • Effectively use the Microsoft Office suite in a document production and management context.
  • Exhibit rigor and discretion in handling sensitive information.
  • Adapt to a fast-paced environment and evolving priorities.
  • Work in a team with a collaborative approach while keeping focused on deadlines.

  • 35 hours/week, 5 days/week (permanent full-time position).

  • Enjoy a summer schedule (ending at 1 PM on Fridays).
  • Three (3) weeks of vacation and more based on experience.
  • Office closure between Christmas and New Year’s Day.
