This role places you at the center of execution: stakeholder coordination, administrative rigor, site monitoring, and cost control. You will work closely with the management of the Montreal office and a dedicated team.
Responsibilities — deliver managed projects from start to finish
- Plan projects by building and maintaining clear, realistic, and monitored timelines.
- Orchestrate kick-offs by preparing and facilitating start-up meetings with stakeholders.
- Get products approved by the client by coordinating technical sheets, shop drawings, and required documents.
- Ensure site presence by visiting job sites regularly to support progress and resolve issues.
- Coordinate stakeholders by maintaining smooth and constant communication throughout the project cycle.
- Manage changes by processing requests, performing cost breakdowns, and ensuring follow-up on amendments.
- Control costs by tracking budget items related to projects and supporting coordinators with administrative tasks.
Profile sought — what it takes to succeed in this position
- Have 3 years of relevant experience in construction, in a role related to execution or project coordination.
- Hold a degree in architecture, estimation, building design, or a combination of relevant training and experience.
- Master French orally and in writing, with intermediate English.
- Effectively use computer tools in a project tracking and documentation context.
- Resolve problems efficiently, maintaining a pragmatic, solution-oriented approach.
- Demonstrate a constant attention to detail, particularly in follow-ups and documentation.
Conditions — compensation, schedule, and benefits
- Bonus: annual bonus and performance bonuses.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM (40 hours/week), with the possibility of a 35-hour or 37.5-hour schedule; flexible hours promoting work-life balance.
