Job Offer: Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technician – Continuous Improvement

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Between 50K and 65K depending on experience

Your responsibilities:

Process Optimization

  • Ensure the accuracy of product costs in our ERP.
  • Perform cycle time measurements on the production floor.
  • Compare estimated times with actual times.
  • Monitor daily efficiency and work in progress.
  • Propose and develop suggestions for improving processes and methods.
  • Participate in equipment and tooling improvement projects.
  • Validate data in the ERP system.

6S System Implementation

  • Participate in the Implementation of a 6S system in the factory.
  • Create and conduct 6S audits, then suggest improvements.
  • Maintain and monitor the 6S system on a daily basis.

Participation in optimization meetings

  • Actively contribute to discussions on process improvement.
  • Perform any other tasks relevant to operational efficiency.

Required profile:

  • Education: Industrial Engineering Technician, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Outsourcing, or any other relevant training or experience.
  • Experience: Prior experience in industrial process optimization is an asset, or at the manufacturing level.
  • Skills: Proficiency in ERP tools, knowledge of Lean methods, 6S, KPI/OKR an asset
  • Qualities sought: Enthusiastic, organized, autonomous, and with excellent communication skills.
