Industrial Systems Programmer (Robots and CNC)

Safran Landing Systems is a subsidiary of Safran Landing Systems, a global leader in landing gear and braking systems for aircraft. The Mirabel plant is dedicated to manufacturing major components of landing gear for Airbus A320, A330, and A350 models, as well as the Boeing 787. It features state-of-the-art equipment for machining, polishing, and special processes, including heat treatment, shot peening, and surface treatments.

In accordance with the standards established by the Programming team manager, perform programming of robotic and CNC cells for new products or major changes to existing programs according to procedures.

1. Develop, modify, and maintain robot programs
- Establish and test the program concept, conduct risk analysis, and make feasibility recommendations.
- Create an initial program and preliminary analysis using software while considering:

o The work environment, fixtures, production parts, and the robot(s) (cell) and limits.
o Paths, trajectories, and movements.
o With the help of automation engineers, display information on the operator interface such as calling recipes and process parameters (HMI).
o Define process parameters with Methods such as distances, intensities, speeds, etc.- Complete prerequisites for production.

2. Develop, modify, and maintain CNC programs

- Identify client needs and provide feedback at each stage
- Establish and test the program concept, conduct risk analysis, and make feasibility recommendations.
- Create an initial program that integrates all process monitoring tools.
- Finalize the program based on client needs and constraints.

3. Documentation and Projects:

- Create and maintain CNC and robotic documentation.
- Support projects for the acquisition or modification of robotic equipment and machines.
- Support the digitalization of robotic systems.

4. Innovation, Evaluation, and participation in continuous improvement:
- Suggest and develop new programming methods or new technologies:

o Stay informed about new technologies and methods on the market
o Participate in sharing best practices within the Group
o Analyze and evaluate new technologies proposed, in collaboration with the tooling manager
o Select those that improve productivity

Let's talk about you

Requirements:
• DEC or AEC in robotics, mechanical engineering, aeronautical engineering, or aerospace construction
• 3 to 5 years of experience

Technical skills:
• Mastery of offline robot programming with DELMIA-V5 ROBOTIC and 3D EXPERIENCE ROBOT software from DASSAULT
• Mastery of CATIA-V5 software from DASSAULT
• Mastery of 6-axis articulated industrial robots from KUKA and MOTOMAN/YASKAWA
• Mastery of safety concepts for robotic systems
• Knowledge of KUKA WorkVisual and OfficeLite software
• Understanding of the manufacturing process, machining of aerospace parts, and capabilities of machine tools
• Mastery of CAD software Catia V5 (volumetric construction, surface modeling, drafting, tolerancing, and CNC programming)
• Knowledge of cutting tools
• Ability to read and interpret drawings
• Mastery of PDM tools and Smarteam
• Knowledge of metrology and dimensional control methods
• Bilingualism
