Teacher for persons with autism
- Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months

Tasks
- Instruct in the use of rehabilitative techniques, prosthetic devices and wheelchairs
- Instruct students in formation and development of sound for speech using hearing aids and other devices
- Assist students to develop life skills
- Collaborate with specialists to develop programs for clients' special needs
- Develop individualized education and intervention plans based on special needs of client to facilitate their readaptation and independence objectives
