Your responsibilities in a nutshell!

Actively participate in the improvement, dissemination and rationalization of practices and tools related to total compensation programs - Exert significant leadership influence on total compensation for unionized or non-unionized employees and senior management - Guide and train managers and HR partners on the varieties of compensation and their practical applications - Strategically align compensation programs with HR objectives to strengthen the attractiveness of the company - Apply its expertise and be responsible for job evaluation activities and maintenance of job classification systems - Preserve the integrity of ongoing pay equity programs - Organize and manage the completion of annual processes such as salary review and compensation incentive - Help the organization carry out specialized remuneration missions, including analysis and support for strategic negotiations - Supervise governance in terms of renewals and changes to group insurance for all categories of employees - Contribute to effective management pension funds and supplementary retirement plans for the company's retirees. 

Your assets for this position!

  • Hold a BAC in industrial relations, resources humanities in actuarial science (ou any other relevant training undergraduate)
  • Have minimum 8 years of relevant experience in compensation, benefits and group insurance 
  • Have a thorough understanding of resource regulations human rights, including the law on pay equity, labor standards and pension plans
  • Experience within a public organization or a state corporation
  • Familiarity with Work Day (asset)
  • Understanding of retirement systems or expertise in the financial or investment field (asset)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite software (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Bilingualism required
