Your responsibilities in a nutshell!

Establish and cultivate relationships with requesters to identify opportunities and recommend best practices in procurement - Design technical quotes and coordinate with internal customers to meet procurement needs acquisition matters - Collaborate with applicants to analyze risks and define procurement needs, as well as to draft calls for tenders and contracts - Select and implement the most appropriate procurement and evaluation methods adapted, taking into account the specificities of the files, markets and risks - Prepare necessary documents such as calls for tenders, addenda, contracts, and selection grids - Lead and actively participate in the selection committees for calls for tenders - Review and implement recommendations for award - Execute contract award, including preparation of public statements and communication of details - Guide and support contract managers in the management and execution of contracts - Maintain market monitoring to optimize procurement and recommend procurement strategies to reduce costs and consolidate requirements - Promote quality assurance and skills development, and advise other advisors or technicians - Negotiate agreements in complex contractual disputes.

Your assets for this position!

  • Hold a BAC in business administration or in a field relevant to the role (Engineering degree or MBA an asset)
  • Have ten years of relevant experience in procurement and information technology
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office suite ( Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Excellent command of French and ability to communicate in English both orally and in writing
