Building Development Technician

You will perform various technical tasks related to the execution of different works and projects involving development in municipal buildings.
You will prepare sketches or other visual representations.
You will liaise between the service, clients, and suppliers for renovations and relocations and prepare, according to directives and rules, requests for the acquisition, rental, and maintenance of equipment and materials under the responsibility of the Service.
Among other things, you will be called to:
- Ensure the reception and follow-up of development requests. Analyze client needs, establish contact with them, and propose solutions to meet their requests;
- Participate in the preparation of sketches, plans, graphs, and other illustrations;
- Participate in the planning of development and relocation activities in municipal buildings;
- Update certain inventories and provide technical descriptions and characteristics of equipment in inventory and buildings owned by the City;
- Conduct research with suppliers and representatives of specialized firms to determine certain characteristics of the equipment required for the work;
- Update certain inventories and provide technical descriptions and characteristics of equipment in inventory and buildings owned by the City. Identify existing furniture in the City and keep the inventory up to date using digital tools and an asset management system.
- Hold a college diploma (DEC) in architecture or interior design;
- Eighteen (18) months of relevant experience in the function as described in the summary above, particularly in interior development and renovation;
- Valid driver's license and have a car;
- Possess training in construction site safety (SST).
