The challenges that await you

Under the authority of the immediate supervisor, you will perform and coordinate studies and analyses of projects related to ventilation, heating, plumbing, air conditioning, and refrigeration of the City’s buildings. Additionally, for certain projects, you will be responsible for sealing the plans and specifications in accordance with the provisions, laws, and regulations of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec.

You will collaborate in the implementation and execution of works carried out by contract, management, and in-house. To this end, you will coordinate and ensure the technical and administrative link between the project owner and the Service management. You will provide applicants with all relevant information regarding your area of expertise.

The ideal profile for us

  • Education acquired through a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering;
  • Have six (6) years of relevant experience for the position;
  • Be a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec.
  • In all phases of project development and works: needs assessment, scope establishment, estimation and scheduling, providing comments related to mechanical design, coordination with various stakeholders, monitoring and inspection of works during execution, training and knowledge transfer to the operator;
  • In energy conservation and energy efficiency;
  • In technical advice and follow-ups;
  • Possess a PMP certificate, an asset;
  • Have a valid class 5 driver's license and a car;
  • Hold an ASP card.
