WORK LOCATION: Laval
Under the supervision of the sewer and aqueduct division chief, you will perform various technical tasks, including the inspection of service entry connections and drainage systems according to current standards and regulations.
You will also carry out various technical and analytical tasks, investigations, and inspections necessary for the preparation of technical compliance or non-compliance reports for various installations related to wastewater collection networks, stormwater collection networks including stormwater management structures (OGEP), the drinking water distribution network, and service entries such as:
- Participate in the planning of upgrade and maintenance projects for stormwater infrastructure including OGEPS;
- Conduct inspections and technical surveys in the field using surveying tools for OGEPS and stormwater networks;
- Participate in the development of a preventive maintenance program for stormwater management infrastructure including OGEPS;
- Assist in estimating maintenance and upgrade costs for OGEPS;
- Monitor the execution of contracts in the field;
- Ensure that the work meets contract specifications and identify deficiencies;
- Produce site reports and project follow-up reports;
- Ensure operational coordination of actions with various City Services;
- Contribute to the implementation of policies in the field of stormwater management;
- Address citizen inquiries for the entire service.
- Education acquired through a college diploma (DEC) in civil engineering;
- Four (4) years of relevant experience in the function, as described in the summary above;
- Possess a valid driver's license and a vehicle;
- Hold an ASP card.
