SCHEDULE:   33.75 hours per week, DAY; MONDAY to FRIDAY - 08:30 to 16:30

WORKING MODE: Hybrid

The challenges that await you

Under the authority of the immediate supervisor, you are responsible for providing project cost estimation services, developing databases, and keeping them up to date. You establish the levels of accuracy for estimates according to the various recognized classes, all based on project phases and available information. You conduct market analysis and consider all factors affecting costs. You contribute to identifying internal and external factors impacting costs and propose to the project manager the best bidding strategies leading to optimal project costs.

The ideal profile for us
  • Be a member in good standing of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec;
  • Hold a bachelor's degree in engineering;
  • Have ten (10) years of relevant experience in the role, particularly in:
    • Estimating large-scale construction projects
    • Developing estimation databases and estimation tools
    • Analyzing and developing estimation methods
  • Possess knowledge of software and tools such as Excel, MS Project, AutoCAD, RSMeans, etc.
