For its Water Management Service, the City of Laval is looking for a:  Construction Equipment Mechanic

STATUS: Permanent

JOB POSTING NUMBER:   912

SALARY:   Class 10 – from $28.72 to $35.91

SCHEDULE:   DAY; MONDAY to THURSDAY - 07:30 to 17:00

WORK LOCATION:   Ste-Rose Filtration Plant Water Management, 4 HOTTE STREET Laval H7L 2R3  (see map below)

 

The challenges that await you

Perform various installation, maintenance, and mechanical repair work on non-road motorized equipment, such as generators, stationary engines, and auxiliary equipment (transfer pumps, etc.) used in drinking water production stations, wastewater treatment, and other infrastructures under the Water Management Service (pumping stations, regulation stations, chlorination stations, etc.)

The ideal profile for us
  • Hold a DEP in construction equipment mechanics;
  • Possess a class 5 driver's license in accordance with the requirements of the Société de l'assurance automobile du Québec;
  • Have a minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience for the position.
