You are responsible for coordinating and supervising the team related to the procurement activities of goods, services, works, agreements, and any other type of contract. In this capacity, you participate in establishing the orientations, objectives, and programs regarding your area of expertise and in developing the annual objectives of your group. You are responsible for ensuring the efficiency of your teams in all stages of the supply chain and logistics.
Mainly, you ensure the proper identification of the needs of the services, as well as the analysis of requests to accurately assess their complexity and guide the team. You are also responsible for following up on purchase requests and calls for tenders, the acquisition and delivery to various reception points, monitoring supplier or contractor performance, and maintaining contracts after award. In pursuit of sustainable procurement, you must ensure the integration of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles in all your actions, whenever possible.
As a member of the Service management team, you collaborate for its smooth operation and contribute to achieving its objectives. You participate in assessing the needs for human, material, and financial resources required for the proper conduct of the activities under your charge and manage the budgets allocated to you. You submit detailed reports and may be called upon to make presentations regarding the activities for which you are responsible.
Results-oriented, you guide, direct, and supervise team members in carrying out their respective mandates, determine priorities, define objectives, and communicate your expectations. You evaluate performance, recognize achievements, and promote staff development by recommending their training.
