Supervisor - Nature Center (CDN) - Weekend

Under the authority of your immediate supervisor, you will supervise the execution of maintenance and development work on the site and buildings of the Nature Center.

Additionally, you will be responsible for managing the employees under your charge. You will participate in monitoring and tracking the use of budgets and material resources.

More specifically:

• You will plan, organize, supervise, and control by directing the work or activities to be executed, establishing different priorities, and ensuring compliance with directives;
• You will maintain harmonious relationships with users and oversee the follow-up of procedures;
• You will ensure the management of human resources by monitoring compliance with schedules and the application of collective agreements.

• Hold an AEC in urban infrastructure foreman or AEC in team coordination in the workplace or AEC in supervising a team of employees or any other combination of studies and relevant experience related to the position will be considered;
• Have five (5) years of relevant experience, particularly in personnel management;
• Experience in one of the following areas: landscaping, horticulture, event management, snow removal, is an asset;
• Knowledge of health and safety standards to be respected in the workplace (use of PPE, safety procedures) as well as various government laws governing health and safety at work;
• Must have safety training for construction sites (SST), an asset;
• Ability to write various reports and memos
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite;
• Possess a valid driver's license, class 5.

Salary: Class 5 - $78,159.53 to $97,700.07
Schedule: DAY; FRI. SAT. SUN. - 07:00 to 19:00
