The challenges that await you

Your mandate is to lead and coordinate operations related to the maintenance, upkeep, and replacement of public infrastructure under your responsibility. You guide, mobilize, and develop a team of managers responsible for these activities. You participate, with management, in establishing the directions and objectives of the Public Works Department, in relation to your area of expertise.

 

You ensure sound and optimal management of budgets, material and human resources, all with the aim of providing quality service to the public, in harmony with the laws, regulations, and collective agreements in force. You ensure that your supervisory staff applies health and safety rules and procedures at work and takes necessary preventive measures.

 

Results-oriented and demonstrating excellent adaptability, you distinguish yourself through your client-focused approach (service to citizens). Your mobilization skills and leadership enable you to guide your team towards achieving results while maintaining strong relationships and partnerships with all stakeholders.

The ideal profile for us
  • Hold a bachelor's degree in administration, civil engineering, or any other relevant field;
  • Have at least ten (10) years of relevant experience, including five (5) years in a management position of a large team and unionized personnel;
  • Experience in budget and operational activity management;
  • Technical knowledge in infrastructure management.
