WORK LOCATION: Administration of Buildings, Parks and Public Spaces, 2550 INDUSTRIAL BLVD Laval H7S 2G7
Depending on the established field, performs various technical tasks involving research and surveys necessary for the design and execution of development, maintenance, construction, modification, or renovation work in municipal buildings or on land designated for municipal use. Designs reports, development proposals, construction plans, cost estimates, and construction or maintenance quotes and oversees the work on site while ensuring coordination among stakeholders and in accordance with established budgets. Participates in the development and execution of projects in collaboration with consulting firms or internal professionals.
- Hold a college diploma (DEC) in building mechanics;
- Thirty (30) months of relevant experience in cost estimation for HVAC systems, in the installation of building HVAC systems;
- Ability to perform simple HVAC load calculations
- Need for great administrative rigor (management of the renewal of petroleum reservoir permits and standardized interventions)
- Strong report writing skills including a good command of written French;
- Experience in plumbing (an asset)
- Vehicle and valid driver's license;
- ASP construction card.
