The challenges that await you
Here are the various roles offered as a level 3 supervising monitor at the Nature Center.
WINTER
- Supervision and management of winter activities: You take care of the skating rink and the sliding hill, ensuring everything runs safely and that instructions are followed.
- Welcoming and supporting visitors: You inform people, assist with ticketing, set up and store equipment, and keep inventory up to date.
FARM:
- Welcoming and animation at the farm: You manage the farm's activities, welcome visitors, and ensure everyone has a good time safely.
- Support for activities and animals: You handle equipment, assist with small animals (in a safe environment), and ensure activities run smoothly.
CHALET RESTO:
- Welcoming and safety on site: You greet visitors, answer their questions, ensure their safety, and enforce regulations.
- Maintenance and management of equipment: You clean the premises and sanitary facilities, ensure the chalet remains clean and functional, and keep the inventory of equipment up to date.
TROPICAL GREENHOUSE:
- Welcoming and animation at the tropical greenhouse: You greet visitors, lead horticultural workshops, and ensure everything goes well and safely.
- Support for horticultural activities: You handle materials for animations, store equipment, and ensure everything is ready and in good condition.
The challenges that await you
- You ensure reports are made: Whether for activities, incidents, or follow-ups, you complete the necessary documents and inform your supervisor if something is not compliant.
- You intervene in case of issues: If someone gets injured, you provide first aid and follow instructions. In case of theft, vandalism, or other serious situations, you contact the police.
- You lend a hand as needed: Other tasks may be added depending on what happens on site.
The ideal profile for us
- Have your secondary school diploma (DES)
- First aid training recognized by the CLSDS Service
- Asset: knowledge of the outdoor field acquired through experience or specialized training
- Asset: experience in customer service
