You will participate in the visual design, development, and planning of various urban development projects. Additionally, you will assist in managing mandates and projects in urban design and ensure their implementation as needed.
More specifically, you will be required to:
- Create detailed plans as well as visual presentation documents, perspectives, 3D visual simulations, and urban design maps and documents using the appropriate software and tools for representing concepts;
- Design, develop, and propose urban redevelopment or development projects according to approaches and trends in planning and urbanism;
- Conduct studies and analyses regarding urban development possibilities, consult stakeholders in the field, and formulate parameters and action plans for project implementation;
- Organize, collaborate in organizing, participate in, and present consultation workshops, conferences, symposiums, study days, training sessions, and information sessions;
- Represent the City to citizens, consultants, or other stakeholders as well as on various committees.
- Hold a bachelor's degree in architecture, landscape architecture, urban planning, environmental design, or any other field related to urban design;
- Hold a master's degree in urban design or a related field, an asset;
- Have four (4) years of experience in activities similar to those described above, particularly in the design of master plans or development potential studies;
- Master the software SketchUp, AutoCAD, and the Adobe suite (Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop).
