Under the authority of your manager, you ensure the execution, coordination, internal control, and verification of operations related to the financial, contractual, and administrative activities of the department. You participate in the development and improvement of the division's work methods, staff training, and ensure the quality of services. You prepare and submit recommendations to your superior for all files under your responsibility.Additionally, you develop the annual budget and oversee the management, monitoring, and control of the operating budget and the Service's PTI, in collaboration with the Finance Department. You provide information related to financial statements for elements within your area of expertise and any other required reports.
More specifically, you:
- Supervise the management of the evolution of various expenses of the Service, including the current budget, the PTI, budget credit transfers, as well as the contractual and administrative activities of the Service;
- Produce, at the end of the year, various reports and accounting analyses related to the closure of the financial year and the preparation of the Service's annual budget, including variance analyses, graphs, evaluations, and statistical compilations;
- Design, develop, and propose to your superior standards, policy drafts, programs, and work procedures relevant to your area of expertise, and ensure their compliance once approved by the Service director;
- Develop and disseminate training and information programs in your area of expertise.
- Hold a bachelor's degree in administration, concentration in accounting, and a graduate diploma in public accounting;
- Member of the CPA Order;
- Have six (6) years of relevant experience including budget management and contract management.
