The challenges that await you

Under the authority of the Head of the Asset Management Division, you are responsible for planning various works and operations related to the mandate of your department. In this capacity, you plan, analyze, and control maintenance and updating programs for the infrastructure and operations of your department's assets to ensure that the personnel assigned to operations can perform their work effectively, efficiently, and adequately while respecting the operational needs and budget of each division. You ensure the technical and administrative follow-up and coordination of various programs within your area of expertise.

You act as a super user in Computerized Maintenance Management (CMMS). You coordinate activities related to the implementation and updating of methodologies, processes, and tools, as well as the development, dissemination, and application of best practices in asset maintenance within your area of activities. You develop, implement, and communicate performance indicators to evaluate the effectiveness and quality of maintenance programs, operations, and the distribution and use of equipment.

In this capacity, you ensure the smooth running of programs to achieve the performance and quality objectives set by management, taking into account the strategic planning of the Service.

More specifically, you will be required to:

  • Plan and organize maintenance work, operational activities, and the coordination of resource usage concerning your area of expertise, and establish priorities while respecting current policies, procedures, directives, and standards;
  • Ensure the progress of the maintenance program schedule and resource usage, adequately coordinate the schedules established by planning and scheduling, and manage and control these activities using various management software;
  • Verify, compile, analyze, and recommend actions to be taken for problematic operations to optimize them or bring them into compliance with regulations and standards. You periodically report to your supervisor on the progress of the work you coordinate and plan.
The ideal profile for us
  • Hold a bachelor's degree in operations and logistics management or in another relevant field;
  • Have six (6) years of relevant work experience in maintenance planning, asset management, or technical operations (municipal, buildings, or industrial);
  • Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) (e.g., Maximo, SAP PM);
  • Excellent mastery of Excel and proficiency with data analysis tools;
  • Knowledge of the field of park and public space maintenance is an asset;
  • Possess a class 5 driver's license.
