For its Service of Buildings, Parks, and Public Spaces, the City of Laval is looking for a: Electrician in Signaling
STATUS: Temporary
JOB POSTING NUMBER: 3083
SALARY: Class 10 – $38.63 per hour
SCHEDULE: DAY; MONDAY to THURSDAY - 07:30 to 17:00
WORK LOCATION: Operational Management of Buildings, Parks, and Public Spaces, 1489 CUNARD STREET DOOR 1, GROUND FLOOR A/S OPERATIONAL MANAGEMENT OF BUILDINGS, PARKS, AND PUBLIC SPACES (2) LAVAL H7S 2H8 (see map below)
Perform installation, repair, and maintenance work on the electrical systems of parks, public squares, traffic lights, and street lighting.
- Hold a recognized certificate of qualifications as a journeyman electrician (CCQ);
- Have at least three (3) years of experience in activities related to the profession of building electrician and street lighting;
- Must hold a class 3 driver's license in accordance with the requirements of the Société de l'assurance automobile du Québec;
- Must have training in construction site safety (SST).
