Job Description
Background and responsibilities Located at CDPQ Singapore office, the intern will be responsible for assisting all members of the Taxation team, whether they are based in Singapore or Montréal with their transactional files, post-investment management or tax compliance issues.What you will do
As part of this internship, the tasks assigned to the intern will include: Taking part in the preparation or review of tax documents (tax instalments, tax returns, tax forms, certificates of residence, etc.) with the Taxation team and our tax consultants Participating in tax reorganizations to support the Taxation Director in charge (verification of tax assumptions, document review) Carrying out technical research (international tax treaties, databases) and writing briefing notes Assisting in tax tender processes Providing legislative and jurisprudence monitoring To support the tax team on any adhoc project whenever needed

Penultimate or final year student pursuing a degree in business or accountancy, with excellent academic track record Student who has cleared the tax module is preferred Excellent verbal and written English. Ability to read and speak Chinese is a plus Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
