CNC Machinist

Main Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical drawings
• Set up and operate various CNC machine tools (lathes and milling machines)
• Deburr parts when they come off the machine
• Perform inspection of machined parts
• Carry out preventive maintenance
• Actively participate in the development and maintenance of quality standards and processes

Education and Experience

• DEP in Machining Techniques with an ASP in Numerical Control (CNC)
• 3 to 5 years of experience in CNC machining
• Basic knowledge of metrology
• Experience in the aerospace and military sectors would be an asset

• Ability to work in a team
• Detail-oriented person working to high quality standards
• Autonomy and resourcefulness

Requirements Related to Canada’s Controlled Goods Program

• Must be a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident
• Must have no criminal record
